My 'makes' are largely inspired by my birthplace, the Isle of Wight, and my travels around the world. They have evolved from my longstanding love of working with wood, as well as my obsession with maps, the great outdoors and all things nautical. The Climbs and Crests Trio is inspired by the holme oak-covered heights of St Boniface downs, which overlook Ventnor Bay on the Isle of Wight. Arguably one of the best climbs, views and descents to be found anywhere. Made from sustainably sourced oak veneered poplar. W550mm x H280mm.
From Bay to Sky - Graphics Style
From Bay to Sky is inspired by one of the best vantage points - from the water looking back at the shore, hills and sky. This version is engraved with texture and graphical patterns. Made from sustainably sourced oak veneered poplar. W300mm x H400mm.
From Bay to Sky - Retro
This version of From Bay to Sky is hand painted and distressed with retro-inspired surf colours and cut with 3mm oak veneered poplar for a chunkier look. W300mm x H400mm.
Isle of Wight Chart Series
The Isle of Wight charts are engraved with depth contour lines referencing nautical charts of the Solent and English Channel. It's not advisable to use them for navigational purposes (!) but they make for a great memento of happy island times, either spent on the water or exploring on land. Can be customised to highlight a particular location or engraved to commemorate events such as Cowes Week or the Round the Island Yacht Race. They can also make for thoughtful personalised wedding gifts. Made from sustainably sourced poplar and oak veneered poplar. Available in 250mm square or 350mm square, and in a range of colour combinations.
